Volume 1 – The keys of G, D, A, and E major, E, B, F#, and C minor are presented with one-octave scales and arpeggiated chords founded upon the Tonic, Submediant and Subdominant of each instance. Melodic technical material, in these keys as well as original, and attractive short pieces with a second violin part are given. The principles of rhythm and the primary bowings, together with theoretical explanations, are scattered throughout the work.
